There are a few things it could be. I assume you are talking about the drain solenoid. It could be the seal on the drain solenoid shaft. That seal will typically only leak when the washer is draining. If this is the case replace the drain shaft seal. There is also a rubber coupling that connects the motor/pump to the tub. Sometimes this coupling will leak and it can be hard to tell if the water is coming from the coupling or something lower when it leaks down. So look hard at the coupling to see if that is what is leaking. It could also be the pump seal. If the pump seal is bad the pump will be leaking where the motor shaft meets the pump.
