Open the dryer door and press the door switch then have someone press the start button. If the drum turns then stops when you let the start switch go the switch in the motor is bad. Try cleaning out the motor good with a vacuum cleaner and if you have one blow it out with an air compressor.

If the drum doesn’t turn you may have a broken belt. Take the front off to see if the belt is broken and if so replace it.

There could also be something hung in the fan blade. This is rare on whirlpools but attempt to turn the motor by hand and if it is stuck there is a good chance there is something hung in the blade. You will have to access the blade from the back. Remove the back cover and there is cover on the left hand side that you will have to remove to access the fan blade.

If you don’t find anything try cleaning out the motor as described above to see if that helps. If not you have a bad motor.
